There’s nothing like a good film at Christmas – whether your go-to is The Polar Express, Home Alone, Love Actually, It’s a Wonderful Life, or The Muppet Christmas Carol.

As a special treat, you’ll find all these plus other Christmas favourites on the big screen at Vue Cinema this month, so grab a bucket of popcorn or tray of nachos, settle back in your leather recliner, and watch the festive fun unfold.

Red One

After a villain kidnaps Santa from the North Pole, an E.L.F operative must partner with the world’s most accomplished tracker to find Santa and save Christmas. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans.

Paddington in Peru

Pack up your marmalade sandwiches and prepare for a trip to Peru with Paddington. Everyone’s favourite bear returns in his most adventurous film yet, heading to Peru for a heartwarming and hilarious journey to visit his Aunt Lucy. Expect all the charm, mishaps, and marmalade that made the first two films such beloved hits. Olivia Coleman and Antonio Banderas join the cast for this new adventure.

Gladiator 2

Prepare for epic action and entertainment as the long-awaited Gladiator sequel finally roars onto the big screen. Paul Mescal is a grown-up Lucius, who – years after watching his uncle Maximus die in the Gladiatorial arena – must fight to return the glory of Rome to its people.

Wicked

An all-star cast including Peter Dinklage, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, Keala Settle and Ariana Grande bring the first part of this adaptation of the fantastic stage musical to life on the big screen.

Conclave

Mystery thriller in which Cardinal Lomeli oversees the group of Cardinals responsible for selecting the new Pope while discovering a trail of secrets that could shake the foundations of the Roman Catholic Church. Ralph Fiennes, Jacek Koman, Lucian Msamati, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow star.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim

Anime fantasy film telling the story of Helm’s Deep and its founder, the King of Rohan.

Kraven the Hunter

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Russell Crowe star in this new Marvel film about a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father leads him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also the most feared.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3

Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite against powerful new adversary Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers like nothing they’ve seen before.

Mufasa: The Lion King

The long-awaited prequel roars into Vue just in time for Christmas, telling the story of how Mufasa found his place in the circle of life.

The Wild Robot

Animated adventure that sees a robot shipwrecked on a desert island learning to adapt to its new surroundings. With the voices of Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy and Kit Connor.
